LAMP -- Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots, is a non-profit organization located in Edmonton, Alberta, with a US office in New Haven, Michigan. The organization has been providing spiritual witness and nurture in communities in northern remote areas of Canada for over 35 years, through the ministry of pastor/pilots, and short and long-term volunteers-in-mission.  LAMP presently works in 60 communities, teaching Vacation Bible School, youth and adult Bible study, and leading soccer camps in the summer months.  This year over 4,000 children, youth and adults were impacted by the ministry of LAMP staff and volunteers.

• Pray. Pray for the LAMP staff, for the volunteers, and for the children, youth, and adults that have been touched by the Holy Spirit through the ministry of LAMP.

• Become a LAMP prayer partner. Visit LAMP’s prayer page online at www.lampministry.org/Prayers; OR you can sign up to be on the Prayer Partner list and receive weekly prayer requests.

• Volunteer. LAMP needs people willing to go into the mission field in remote areas of northern Canada to teach children and youth about Jesus, and encourage believers of all ages in their faith. Link to the Volunteer page for opportunities.

• Support LAMP financially. LAMP would not be in existence without the many people who support the ministry with their offerings. Consider becoming a monthly supporter.

• Support a VBS team. Teams need help with finances, or you can provide needed craft supplies, etc. Call or email the LAMP office to find a team near your area. (office@lampministry.org.)

• Christian Day school or Sunday School students support LAMP financially through the “Fueling the Mission” program.

• Become a LAMP congregational or area rep. Become the LAMP spokesperson for your church or area.
