LAMP's Planes

The Cessna 337 Skymaster is an in-line center-thrust twin-engine retractable-gear airplane with deicing boots on the leading edge of the wings. One engine is located on the front of the plane while the second engine is mounted on the rear of the fuselage. The Skymaster, “Mix-master”, “push-pull”, “huff and puff”, was used in Viet Nam and is currently used by the Ministry of Natural Recourses in Canada for fire control as a “bird-dog” with the water bombers.
LAMP's Cessna 337 (call letters N337LC) has been out of commission for several years. Both engines need to be replaced. Enter ~ MMS Aviation! MMS Aviation is a faith-supported ministry that has prepared people and planes for worldwide mission service since 1975. Located in Coshocton, Ohio, this ministry agreed to facilitate repair of the Cessna 337 two years ago. On May 14th, 2009, the plane was finally pulled into Hangar A. Let the work begin!
